====== FAFO e.V. ====== Welcome! We are a brand new non-profit semiconductor research, applied science and analytical chemistry lab in Munich. We are also group of friends who wanted a space to do the kind of research we've always wanted, but couldn't do at our local hackerspaces - either due to space constraints, or lack of structures allowing for a safe operation of a proper lab. We're inspired by the likes of Sam Zeloof, Hacker Fab and others. Our aim is to contribute to the global movement of DIY semiconductors by pushing the limits of what can be done in a non-commercial, unaffiliated grassroots setting. While we're starting out in the area of DIY semiconductor research, there's no telling where we'll end up. ===== Resources ===== Check out the sidebar for entries about our ongoing projects and available equipment, or go to our Git Forge to see more behind-the-scenes work and whatever source code we're actively working on. You can also follow us on the Fediverse at @fafo@fa-fo.de. ===== Updates ===== * **2024/08/22**: We are now officially registered as an association (FAFO e.V.)! * **2024/08/05**: We are founded, and we are working on getting our SEM up and running.
